Be Monsoon ready

Finally, Monsoon season has arrived with lots of happiness and joyous feelings. Choosing the right attire might be a troublesome task this season. But don’t worry at all. Just by following these simple tricks, you can remain vibrant and fashionable even in monsoon.

Apparels

In monsoon, dress up in casuals rather than in formals. Choose warm prints and colors like fuchsia, green, neon, yellow etc. Wear knee-length pants, capris or leggings by pairing it with colourful top as full length dresses might get spoiled by dirt. Wear fabrics that could dry easily like nylon, lycra, cotton and other blended fabrics. Try to avoid chiffon, suede, crepe and denims. For elegant and traditional look, you can complement kurtis with leggings or churidhars.

Mixed Accessories

Choose right accessories to complement with your dress and appearance. The accessories like bags, raincoat, umbrellas and plastic jewellery completes the look of every woman. Get stylish water-proof handbag, raincoat or umbrella in dazzling colors. Wear light plastic jewellery and avoid metallic as it might get tarnish.

Stylish Footwear

Wear waterproof, anti-slip shoes and avoid flip flops since these can splash water over your clothes. Put on quality socks to keep your feet dry. For the colorful look, you can choose among sandals, bellies and floaters too. Get rain boots to protect yourself from the pools of rain water.

Light Make-up

Apply water-resistant cosmetics onto your face like eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, foundation, and loose powder. Keep make-up light and sober. Matte- finish make-up could prevent oily look on your face. Also, it smudges less. Avoid too-much of mascara or kajal and cream-based blush shimmers, and foundations. Herbal or natural face-scrub such as oatmeal or papaya pulp exfoliates your skin well and keeps the skin glowing.

Don’t let the monsoon dampen your beauty as well. Try these simple tips and remain warm and bright throughout the season.
